Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of multinational company in Oil & Gas Services. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 20 years' experience in financial controller in multinational company for the job of APAC Financial Controller. The job is based in South Tangerang, Indonesia.
Key job responsibilities include:
- Direct report to CEO and Regional Finance Asia Pacific
- Lead the full cycle accounting functions across multiple Asia Pacific jurisdictions.
- Direct accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, payroll accounting, and cash applications in a high-volume environment.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes within Oracle or equivalent ERP systems.
- Ensure all statutory filings and tax submissions are completed accurately and on time, in compliance with local regulations.
- Safeguard financial data accuracy and integrity to support senior management in strategic decision-making.
- Manage cash flow and local banking requirements, aligned with global treasury objectives.
- Maintain a robust internal control environment and ensure compliance with audit, and internal control standards.
- Drive regional consistency by implementing global accounting policies and procedures.
- Provide financial insights and reporting for budgeting, forecasting, and operational analysis.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a regional team of finance professionals across multiple countries
- Serve as a key point of contact during internal and external audits.
- Collaborate closely with operational teams and corporate finance stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree/Professional Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with at least 20 years' experience in oil & gas services or engineering, in multinational company
- Professional certification such as CA or CPA is required
- 20+ years of progressive finance experience, including SSC oversight and regional exposure
- Strong working knowledge of accounting standards
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Comfortable working in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
- Proficient in Oracle or similar ERP systems
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Willingness to travel regionally as required
