Area Sales Engineer

Our respected client is seeking for a highly motivated and professional individual for the role Area Sales Engineer (Penang) to expand their market share in the Northern region.
Job summary:
The main responsibility of the salesperson is to promote and sell the whole range of client's products, Services and Logistic Solutions in his/her dedicated area.
It includes the responsibility for incoming orders, revenue and gross profit of all logistics systems' solutions, products, and services as defined for the dedicated area (achieving sales targets) and according to the respective title.
The Sales Person is furthermore responsible for developing their areas through relation management, networking, cold calls, market penetration, frequent visits and demos, to identify and seize opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactive promoting and selling of products, services and solutions to customers and prospects in dedicated areas
- Proactive learning and usage of the sales tools and software systems provided
- Act as account manager for all client'sclient's sales matters from cold call to sales to delivery and service
- Actively listen to customer requirements and work out solutions based on e.g. requirements, process flow, TCO and site surveys
- Develop, create, and hold customer centric presentations
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing and potential customers in the dedicated area in person and via telephone calls, emails and other social media channels
- Conduct cold calls to arrange meetings with potential customers
- Negotiate the terms and pricing of an agreement
- Configure and calculate product and project deals with correct specifications and costs
- Use marketing materials and promotion pricing to go to market
- Maintain customer data, activities, and opportunity in C4C CRM
- Accounts receivable collection and escalation.
