We are seeking an experienced Business Development (BD) Leader to join the team in Bangkok. This position is for a high-impact role focused on managing and expanding a portfolio of large corporate clients, particularly across large-scale of corporate insurance. In this role, you will drive profitable sales growth and client retention by actively partnering with underwriting teams to meet their growth and profitability objectives. You will play a key role in elevating the organization's market presence through strategic marketing initiatives and the delivery of high-quality, innovative risk solutions.
Job Responsibilities
Lead efforts to grow premium income in the market.
Collaborate with underwriting teams to meet targets for client retention, premium growth, and portfolio profitability
Identify and strategically engage with assigned brokers to align offerings with their business needs
Promote the company's capabilities and product suite within the broker community to increase quality submissions and expand the business pipeline
Partner with country leadership and underwriting to implement broker partnership strategies effectively at the local level
Maintain strong senior-level relationships with key brokers and facilitate interactions with underwriters and leadership as appropriate
Represent the company at industry events and forums to enhance brand visibility and market positioning.
Develop and maintain deep, trust-based relationships with corporate clients
Support cross-selling initiatives and identify new opportunities that align with client risk profiles
Ensure seamless and professional service experience for clients, monitor satisfaction levels, and work internally to resolve issues and implement improvements
Job Requirements
Proven track record in business growth, sales, marketing, and relationship management
Collaborative, results-oriented, and self-driven with strong problem-solving skills
Solid knowledge of financial services, underwriting, and risk management
Excellent communication, presentation, and report-writing skills in English
Strong clients focus with ability to build credible relationships internally and externally.
Highly organized with effective time management and prioritization
Detail-oriented and proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
