Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia, an executive recruitment consultant company, is recruiting on behalf of a healthcare company with a growing presence in Indonesia. As part of its continued expansion, our client is seeking a Business Unit Lead to drive commercial performance, strengthen sales and marketing capabilities, and lead the growth of its healthcare business. This position will be based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage overall Business Unit performance, including sales growth, market development, and commercial execution.
  • Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies across healthcare business lines.
  • Drive commercial expansion within hospital and clinical channels, particularly in Class A and Class B hospitals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and medical KOLs across multiple specialties.
  • Lead, coach, and develop sales and commercial teams to improve capability, structure, and execution excellence.
  • Transform a team that is currently execution-focused into a more structured, strategic, and performance-driven organization.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to strengthen commercial processes, alignment, and operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field.
  • Background in pharmaceutical companies is mandatory; experience in consumer health or medical-related businesses is an advantage.
  • Proven experience in commercial sales leadership, preferably at Business Unit Head, Sales Head, or Regional leadership level.
  • Strong understanding of hospital-based selling and engagement with healthcare professionals.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage KOL relationships.
  • Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
  • Fluent English is mandatory; strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia are also required.
