Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a world-class wall and flooring solutions provider in the Philippines. Our respected client is seeking a Certified Public Accountant who is amenable to work on a hybrid work set-up (3 days onsite, 2-day WFH) from Mondays to Fridays. The office is in Panorama Building, 1139 Epifanio de los Santos Ave, Project 7, Quezon City, 1105 Metro Manila.

About the role:
The Certified Public Accountant will play a vital role in leading and overseeing the accounting and finance department, providing guidance and support to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, tax reports, budget preparation and monitoring, strategic analysis on business operations, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The role will report directly to the President.

Key responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate, complete, and timely financial reports to help guide decision-making.
  • Prepare accurate, complete, and timely tax reports to ensure compliance with government mandates.
  • Develop, analyze, and maintain budgets including comparing budgeted versus actual.
  • Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice and recommend further improvements.
  • Ensure the timely and correct processing of all matters related to the above through the various personnel of the organization including month-end closing, reconciliation schedules, financial and management reporting and other various general accounting tasks.
  • Other tasks may be assigned by the exigencies of the business, within the department, company as well as other companies within the WOW group.

Key qualifications:

  • Must be a licensed CPA.
  • Experienced in QuickBooks or any similar accounting software is a plus.
  • Preferably female, from the same industry.
  • At least less than 3 years of experience as a CPA and 5 years combined work experience in accounting and/or finance
  • With prior background in service contracts, computing progress billing, cash flow management, filing of reports to external parties, forecasting and scheduling.
  • Computer tech savvy, a strong sense of ethics, team player, and ability to learn quickly.
