Monroe Consulting Indonesia is seeking an experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) on behalf of a client within a growing retail organization to lead and strengthen the technology function. This role is responsible for setting the technology direction, ensuring stable IT operations, and driving digital transformation across both offline and e-commerce channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and hands-on leadership across all technology functions
- Oversee IT infrastructure, IT operations, and enterprise systems to ensure reliability, scalability, and security
- Lead digitalization initiatives, including retail systems, e-commerce platforms, omnichannel solutions, and process automation
- Own and manage ERP systems, ensuring strong integration with e-commerce, finance, supply chain, and store operations
- Ensure information security, data protection, and IT governance across all platforms
- Partner closely with business leaders to translate commercial, operational, and e-commerce needs into effective technology solutions
- Manage and develop internal IT teams and external technology vendors
Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role (CTO, Head of IT, or equivalent)
- Strong background in IT infrastructure, IT operations, and enterprise applications
- Hands-on experience managing or implementing e-commerce platforms
- Solid experience with ERP systems, system integration, and data flows
- Good understanding of IT security, risk management, and compliance
- Experience in the retail industry is highly preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
