Brief Job Description:
Leadership & Management
- Provide overall direction, leadership, and supervision to project managers, engineers, and site staff.
- Develop and implement strategic goals for the division in alignment with company objectives.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, safety, and quality excellence.
Project Execution
- Oversee all phases of construction projects, from planning to turnover.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
- Approve project schedules, manpower plans, and resource allocation.
- Monitor progress, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Financial & Resource Management
- Prepare and manage the division's annual budget.
- Monitor project costs, cash flows, and profitability.
- Optimize resource allocation, including labor, equipment, and materials.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Enforce compliance with local laws, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Ensure adherence to company standards, ISO, and quality management systems.
- Conduct regular audits, inspections, and reviews to maintain high standards.
Client & Stakeholder Relations
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and consultants regarding project progress and concerns.
- Negotiate contracts, variations, and claims with clients and subcontractors.
- Strengthen client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Continuous Improvement
- Introduce innovative construction methods, technologies, and labor-saving techniques.
- Promote sustainability and energy-efficient construction practices.
- Mentor and develop talent within the division to build future leaders.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Construction Management, or related field (master's degree is an advantage)
- Must be a Registered (Licensed Professional Electrical Engineer is an advantage).
- Male, 40 years old and above
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in construction management, with at least 5 years in a leadership/managerial role
- Proven track record in handling large-scale projects (commercial, industrial (Manufacturing, etc.), infrastructure)
