Our respected client is seeking a Senior Credit Analyst to manage risk assessment, portfolio health, and credit strategy for their expanding operations. This role plays a critical part in supporting major sectors such as mining, construction, and forestry. The job is based in Jakarta.

Job Description:

  • Manage and streamline the end-to-end credit application lifecycle across designated regions, ensuring full alignment with internal policies and OJK regulatory standards.
  • Evaluate and draft comprehensive credit proposals and recommendations that fall within the organization's risk appetite and strategic goals.
  • Conduct on-site due diligence and field inspections to verify customer business viability and operational capacity.
  • Standardize credit risk assessment frameworks and decision-making protocols across all regional branches to maintain quality and consistency.
  • Track and analyze portfolio performance and emerging risk indicators within specific industrial sectors to preempt potential defaults.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales and Legal, to navigate complex credit structures and manage distressed accounts.
  • Perform deep-dive industry research and market mapping to refine risk mitigation strategies and identify sustainable growth opportunities.


Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in credit analysis, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
  • Deep expertise in corporate credit risk assessment, financial statement interpretation, and B2B portfolio monitoring.
  • Strong command of regulatory compliance and industry trends, particularly in heavy equipment, mining (coal and minerals), and forestry.
  • Exceptional leadership, mentoring, and decision-making capabilities to guide a high-performing team.
  • Advanced analytical thinking and the ability to maintain precision while managing high-pressure priorities.
  • Professional fluency in English (both written and spoken) for international reporting and cross-border collaboration.
  • Superior report-writing and communication skills to present findings to senior management.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel for field visits and site inspections as required.
