Our respected client is seeking a Customer Development Manager for South Luzon.The role is responsible for achieving sustainable sales growth by building and executing annual business plans with assigned Regional Local Key Accounts and Secondary Accounts Group to effectively grow the category long term. The Customer Development Manager is accountable for the delivery of the In-Market
Sales target and Trade Promo efficiency through achievement of the sales metrics targets (Volume, Distribution, Display, Value/Freshness and Promotions) for his/her territory.
Key job responsibilities include:
Key Accounts Management
- Develop business plans in his/her assigned local accounts to win in the region, demonstrating effective customer centricity and engagement, business growth and excellence in physical availability.
- Attain category leadership through partnership with key retailers by driving category growth and sales turnover.
- Leads execution of digital platform plans and be able to monitor and analyze output reports.
- Optimizes range, distribution, points of engagement in-store, value and promotional metrics to continually add to customer value and ensure excellent execution in place.
- Effective and efficient management and deployment of Activities and Trade Expenditure and/or Trading terms.
- Ensure freshness of products in-store.
Sales Force Management and Engagement
- Effectively manage the region with special focus on his/her house accounts by building the assigned distributor sales team capabilities and engagement.
- Lead and manage regional sales force to achieve excellence in trade and merchandising executions.
Inter-functional Work Processes and Alignments
- Develop close working partnership with inter-functional teams.
- Ensure timely execution to support delivery of tasks and projects to attain joint objectives.
Key job qualifications include:
- Bachelor's Degree of relevant areas
- Sales background of about 3 to 5 years with experience in managing South Luzon local key accounts and secondary accounts in FMCG preferably MNC.
- About 3 to 5 years MT/Supermarket management from either distributor or manufacturing company.
- Strong in local key account operations.
- Must have deep understanding of the region and behavior of consumers to design and implement localized programs that will help accelerate category growth.
- Additionally, must have Strategic Agility to partner with local key customers to grow the business and the category long term.
- Strong negotiation skills, knowledge in trading terms, effective planning & prioritization skills.
- Ability to understand category leadership/management, draw insights and create compelling stories to drive the business growth.
- Potential to develop and grow to the next level.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Willingness to travel.
