Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a multinational FMCG company known for its trusted household and personal care brands. Our esteemed client is looking for a Distribution Specialist who will be responsible for overseeing and strengthening general trade distribution in North Luzon. This role plays a key part in achieving sales targets, expanding numeric distribution, and supporting the sustainable growth of the company's products in the region.

Job Summary:

The Distribution Specialist will manage distributor partners and ensure operational excellence across the assigned territory. The role is responsible for implementing distribution strategies, improving market coverage, optimizing inventory and delivery systems, and ensuring effective execution of trade activities in General Trade (GT) channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement territory distribution strategies aligned with national and regional sales objectives
  • Develop and manage relationships with distributor partners to ensure product availability and sales target achievement
  • Monitor distributor performance, inventory levels, and order processing to avoid stockouts and overstocking
  • Identify distribution gaps and execute action plans to expand market reach and improve numeric distribution
  • Coordinate closely with General Trade sales teams and trade marketing to ensure aligned field execution
  • Conduct regular trade visits and route riding with distributor sales representatives to ensure compliance and effectiveness
  • Track sales data, analyze trends, and provide recommendations to improve distribution efficiency and GT presence
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of sales, inventory movement, and market feedback
  • Drive compliance with service-level agreements, pricing guidelines, and sales process standards
  • Support training and capability-building initiatives for distributor sales teams

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales distribution, preferably in FMCG and General Trade channels
  • Proven experience in distributor and account management in provincial markets, especially in North Luzon
  • Strong data analysis, route-to-market understanding, and negotiation skills
  • Willing to travel extensively and conduct regular fieldwork across North Luzon
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiarity with sales reporting tools
