Executive Search Firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a Southeast Asia-based environmental services company that provides top-quality pest control, cleaning, and environmental solutions. Our respected client is seeking a Financial Reporting Supervisor who will be responsible for the preparation of board reports, year-end audit and the support of budget and forecast activities of the organization. This role will be based onsite in Quezon City, Philippines.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Excellence

  • Oversees the daily activities of Accounting, Accounts Payables, Cost Accounting and Treasury
  • Oversees team who processes monthly closing process, including reconciliations and analysis of related accounts
  • Monitors and analyzes department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • Monitors and performs studies to interpret financial actions and modify accounting processes and provide technical advice and recommend improvements for the same
  • Coordinates with various teams and performs complex analysis and prepares reports to summarize financial data
  • Collaborates with other departments to support the overall brand's goal and objective
  • Supports and assists the Controller with special projects and workflow process improvements

Financial Accountability

  • Reviews the financial reports of the Company and recommends steps on how to manage Company expenses
  • Coordinates with all Brands in budgeting and forecasting activities by providing insights for better financial allocations

People Engagement and Development

  • Supervises Team Members who assist in the financial reporting deliverables
  • Provides training to new and existing staff as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance
  • At least 2 years working experience in Finance and Accounting or equivalent
  • Proven leadership/people management experience
  • With strong background in financial reporting and analysis
  • Experience in accounting systems is an advantage
