Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia, an executive recruitment company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced FP&A lead to lead the financial planning and analysis function for our international subsea business. This role will be critical in providing financial insights, capital budgeting, strategic pricing, and business case development for Mid to large-scale infrastructure investments. The role also oversees standard FP&A responsibilities including performance reporting, variance analysis, forecasting, and AOP support.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Lead financial planning processes (AOP, quarterly forecasts, long-range planning) for the international subsea business.
- Prepare monthly management reports and financial dashboards with insightful variance analysis and performance commentary.
- Partner with regional and group finance to ensure accurate consolidation and alignment across entities.
Capital Budgeting & Investment Analysis
- Lead preparation of capital investment proposals, ROI/IRR/XIRR calculations, and financial modelling for new projects or capacity investments.
- Drive strategic capital allocation decisions through scenario modelling, sensitivity analysis, and benchmarking.
- Work closely with Operations and Commercial teams on CAPEX governance and funding requests.
Business Case & Pricing Support
- Develop and validate pricing models for IRU sales, leaseback deals, and capacity-based pricing across subsea segments.
- Support presales and commercial teams in crafting financially sound business cases .
- Track profitability and breakeven timelines for major deals and ensure alignment with financial KPIs.
Strategic Finance & Business Partnering
- Act as key finance partner to Subsea leadership team
- Provide insights on cost optimization, commercial deal structuring, and long-term viability of subsea projects.
Governance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, DOA, and accounting standards (IFRS)
- Support internal/external audits and reporting packs for board presentations or investor reviews.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in FP&A, investment analysis, or corporate finance; experience in infrastructure, telco, or subsea is a strong plus
- Proven experience in capital budgeting, business case development, and pricing strategy
- Strong proficiency in Excel modelling, financial systems , and PowerPoint
