With a strong focus on innovation and customer satisfaction, our client strives to exceed expectations in delivering packages efficiently and reliably across the globe.

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join the team as the Head of International Business. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and growing international business operations, managing the profit and loss of the global business, and establishing strategic partnerships to expand the company's reach worldwide.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability for the international business segment.
  • Oversee all aspects of the export business, including pricing, logistics, and compliance with international regulations.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners, to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Lead and mentor a team of professionals responsible for international sales, business development, and operations.
  • Analyse market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for expansion and differentiation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate international business operations into the overall company strategy.
  • Implement best practices and processes to streamline operations and enhance efficiency in the delivery of international shipments.
  • Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with international trade, including currency fluctuations, geopolitical instability, and regulatory changes.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the customer experience and maintain a competitive edge in the global marketplace.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management on the performance of the international business unit, including key metrics, financial results, and strategic initiatives.

Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Relations, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in international business development and management, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively across cultures.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Deep understanding of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications and technology platforms used in global logistics operations.
  • Ability to travel internationally.
