Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a shared service of integrated supplier of offshore operations, well services technology, and engineering solutions in more than 20 countries. Our reputable client is looking for IT - Business Applications well-versed in service desk L1 to L2 support in a shared services environment. This job is based in Makati on rotating mid-shift schedule with 3x/week on-site schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a single point of contact for the supporting business applications as well as the back-end application that support these systems.
- Responsible for making sure that all business applications are running seamlessly and enabling users to get on with their tasks.
- Responsible for monitoring the application performance.
- Diagnose the incident and issue raised by users based on agreed SLA.
- Perform analyses on software functionality and suggest improvements.
- Perform analysis on root causes application errors.
- Provide permanent corrective actions.
- Document issue resolution for knowledge transfer as appropriate.
- Ensure effective front end and back-end functionality of business applications.
- Keep record of configurations, integrations and updates.
- Conduct training and create training materials for user and clients.
- Provide Documentation and train users for the application.
- Participate in reviewing requirements for application enhancements and new projects.
- Collaborate with various business stakeholders and team members.
- Primary contact for vendor engagement.
- Perform other related tasks that may be required from time to time.
Key Job Requirements:
- Has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer technology, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- Has at least three (3) years of working experience within service desk L1-L2 support in a shared services environment or similar is required for this position.
- Knowledge on the current information technologies needed to support a specific application.
- Keeps abreast in latest IT trends applicable to the business.
- With experience or at least basic knowledge in PowerApps
- Result and action-oriented mind-set and with ability to be creative in challenging situations.
- Has a strong customer service and focus, problem solving and collaboration abilities.
- Has the ability to take initiative and make sound judgement and decisions within applicable scope, global perspective, procedures and guidelines.
- Structured, accurate, systematic, task focused and committed to deliver within deadlines.

- Ability to relate and explain technical jargons to users and customers globally, uses different type of approach to request, technical cases and scenarios.
- Proficient oral and written communication skills in English with expertise in international and cross-cultural communications and business relations.

- Advanced knowledge in Windows Operating Systems (Windows10) and MS Applications; Visio, Project, etc.
- Knowledge on handling and navigating through MS applications.
