Job Summary
This role involves leading cross-functional implementation teams to successfully deliver software and technology solutions according to internal business requirements. The successful candidate will develop and manage comprehensive implementation plans, oversee coordination with IT and software vendors, and serve as the primary point of contact between technical teams and business stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional implementation teams to successfully deliver software and technology solutions according to internal business requirements.
- Develop and manage comprehensive implementation plans including timelines, resource allocation, risk assessment, and quality assurance.
- Oversee and coordinate with existing IT and software vendors to ensure alignment with project goals and timely delivery of services.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between technical teams and business stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Create and maintain project documentation including requirements, specifications, test plans, and user guides.
- Manage system integration activities ensuring proper configuration, data migration, and system testing.
- Identify potential issues and bottlenecks in the implementation process and develop effective solutions.
- Monitor project progress against established metrics and KPIs, adjusting course as needed.
- Evaluate and manage relationships with software technology vendors and implementation partners.
- Negotiate vendor agreements and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Monitor vendor performance and address any service delivery issues.
- Coordinate vendor activities to align with project timelines and requirements.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information system, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software implementation and project management.
- Demonstrated experience in full lifecycle system implementation projects.
- Strong technical background with hands-on software development experience.
- Proven track record of successfully managing IT vendors and external partners.
- Excellent understanding of project management methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to analyze complex systems and processes.
- Experience with system integration, data migration, and testing methodologies.
- Outstanding communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in financial services industry.
