Monroe Consulting Group is currently looking for a Product and Business Development Manager for our client, a telecommunication infrastructure company based in Jakarta.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the creation of new products or service offerings, and enhance existing product portfolios to capture market demand.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and commercial teams to ensure timely and successful product launches.
- Manage the entire product lifecycle for assigned business streams - from concept development, market validation, and business planning to execution and post-launch optimization.
- Collaborate with the CEO to develop short-term and long-term business growth strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities within the telco infrastructure sector, including vertical expansion, strategic partnerships, and diversification.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
- Develop business cases, ROI analysis, and go-to-market strategies for new initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate product performance, adjusting strategies to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Own P&L responsibility for assigned products/business streams, ensuring revenue and profitability targets are met or exceeded.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive adoption of products and solutions in both existing and new markets.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with partners, vendors, and clients to optimize commercial terms.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including mobile network operators, ISPs, property developers, technology vendors, and government bodies.
- Represent the company in industry forums, exhibitions, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and business opportunities.
- Partner with internal teams to align operational capabilities with market demands.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Telecommunications, or related field; MBA is an advantage.
- Minimum 7 years of proven experience in product management, business development, or commercial management within the telco infrastructure sector (towers, IBS, broadband, or related services).
- Strong understanding of telecom infrastructure business models, market trends, and regulatory environment in Indonesia and the region.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and launch new products or services successfully.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and profitability targets.
- Excellent negotiation, networking, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
