Monroe Consulting Indonesia is looking for a Sales Head position for our client, a multinational Telecommunication Devices/Infrastructure company that is growing their team in Indonesia.
Job Description
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales and GTM strategy for the Indonesia market, aligned with corporate objectives.
- Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities with telco operators and ISPs.
- Conduct in-depth market research to analyze customer needs, competitor activities, and emerging trends in network infrastructure and cloud technologies.
- Act as the face of the company in Indonesia, representing the brand at industry events, exhibitions, and meetings with senior stakeholders.
- Own and achieve annual sales targets and KPIs for Indonesia.
- Proactively develop a robust sales pipeline and convert opportunities into revenue.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
- Lead commercial negotiations to secure competitive and profitable deals.
- Manage the full sales lifecycle - from lead generation, proposal creation, contract negotiation, to deal closure.
- Collaborate with internal teams (product, engineering, operations, marketing) to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts, reports, and market insights to the CEO and leadership team.
- Build, maintain, and expand C-level relationships with key decision-makers in telco operators and large-scale enterprises.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients in Indonesia, ensuring long-term relationships and repeat business.
- Act as a trusted advisor, offering tailored solutions to meet client technical and commercial needs.
- Identify partnership opportunities with local distributors, technology partners, and industry bodies to accelerate market entry and brand awareness.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop localized campaigns and client engagement programs.
- Monitor industry regulations and compliance requirements for smooth market operations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA is an advantage.
- Minimum 8 years of proven experience in sales or business development in the telco network infrastructure and device sector (routers, switches, OTT, AI-integrated, cloud, or related solutions).
- Strong existing network and relationships with Indonesian telco operators.
- Demonstrated success in delivering multimillion-dollar sales and achieving growth targets.
- Deep understanding of telecommunications technologies, market trends, and procurement processes in Indonesia.
- Excellent commercial negotiation, strategic selling, and presentation skills.
- High level of self-motivation and ability to operate independently as an individual contributor.
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
