Our client is seeking an experienced and hands-on Production Manager to oversee manufacturing operations and engineering activities, based in Pathum Thani, Thailand.
The Production Manager will oversee end-to-end manufacturing performance and engineering processes to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, while driving continuous improvement in productivity, cost, and process efficiency.
Job Responsibilities
Oversee daily production operations, ensuring on-time delivery, quality output, and optimal resource utilization across manpower, materials, and equipment.
Lead and develop production and engineering teams to achieve operational goals, including training, performance management, and workforce planning.
Manage and improve manufacturing processes for electrical component products, driving efficiency, quality, and cost optimization.
Support new product introduction (NPI) by coordinating engineering design reviews, production trials, and process validation.
Implement Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and reduce waste.
Ensure product quality and compliance with internal standards, customer specifications, and relevant industry requirements (e.g., IPC/WHMA-A-620).
Collaborate with quality, procurement, and design functions to resolve technical or process issues and support sourcing of key materials and components.
Monitor and control production KPIs, including yield, throughput, downtime, and efficiency performance.
Ensure workplace safety, EHS compliance, and adherence to operational policies and documentation control.
Drive cross-functional initiatives to support business growth, scalability, and operational excellence.
Job Requirements
Possess academic background in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
Proven experience in production and/or engineering management within electrical components, or related manufacturing industries.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and equipment used in electrical assembly.
Skilled in technical drawings, wiring schematics, and quality standards (UL, IPC, ISO).
Proven leadership in process improvement and team development; Lean or Six Sigma background is an advantage.
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and general computer applications.
Good command of English communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
