Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of the world's largest marketplace in the global marine industry. Our client is on the look out for an experienced IT/Quality Assurance professional for the job of QA Engineer. This role will be on mid-shift and WFH arrangement with 1 day onsite (Thursday).
Job Responsibilities:
* Design, develop and execute automation testing scripts.
* Design, develop and execute performance testing scripts.
* Create comprehensive test cases relevant to test conditions.
* Identify, raise, and retest software defects and record results in defect management tool.
* Monitor and maintain automation and performance testing scripts.
* Drive the team to deliver more frequently by enabling continuous integration.
* Maintains documentation of the automated scripts to assist debugging and users.
* Participate in sprint ceremonies like scrum meetings, sprint planning and retrospective, product grooming and analysis.
* Assess scopes and provide estimates for testing.
* Propose and implement process improvements that could benefit the whole project team
Job Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related software engineering discipline or equivalent
* At least 2 years of automation testing and hands-on scripting experience
* Experience in test automation frameworks such as Cypress.io, Selenium, Playwright, Webdriver.io, or similar.
* A solid understanding of OOP development practices and demonstrable experience with JavaScript, Typescript or similar
* A good understanding on web technologies such as HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript and NodeJS
* A passion for testing experience, particularly web front-end and back-end testing experience.
* Working knowledge of tools such as ASANA, BitBucket, Git, Azure DevOps
* Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL database including SQL and MongoDB
* Experience in traditional, iterative, or Agile development practices is highly desirable.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
