Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is assisting a leading shipping company in Makati City, Philippines in their search for a dynamic Sales and Marketing Manager. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in sales and marketing within the shipping or logistics industry.

Job Summary:

The Sales and Marketing Manager will lead the sales and marketing efforts of the company, focusing on client acquisition, relationship management, and business development strategies. This role will be pivotal in driving revenue growth and expanding market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve corporate objectives.
  • Identify and target new business opportunities, including market research, prospecting, and cold calling.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with operational capabilities.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation to closure, ensuring consistent sales performance.
  • Analyze sales data and metrics to optimize strategies and drive continuous improvement.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales performance and market trends.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales and marketing roles within the shipping or logistics industry.
  • Strong understanding of shipping operations, logistics management, and supply chain dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a strong business acumen.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
