Executive Search Firm Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting a Sales Director on behalf of a food distribution company. The role will lead overall sales strategy and execution by managing multiple sales teams and channels, driving revenue growth through high-volume and relationship-based segments, and spearheading digital transformation in sales operations. Working setup is onsite with office location in Parañaque.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage multiple sales teams across different channels to deliver revenue, market share, and profitability targets.
Develop and execute sales strategies across high-volume channels (e.g., Modern Trade, Bulk) and relationship-based channels (e.g., Foodservice, Catering).
Oversee business planning, pricing, promotions, and trade negotiations with key partners.
Drive digital transformation initiatives through effective use of CRMs, analytics dashboards, ERP systems, and automation tools for sales and forecasting.
Monitor and analyze sales performance data, market trends, and competitor activities to inform strategy.
Present and align sales strategies at board level while coaching frontline managers to deliver execution excellence.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Operations, Purchasing, and Marketing to ensure smooth execution of business plans.
Provide leadership, mentoring, and performance management to strengthen sales capability and team effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with internal processes, budgets, and reporting requirements.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years' progressive sales experience with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or director-level role.
Strong background in FMCG, food distribution, or related industries.
Proven track record managing multiple sales teams and channels.
Proficient in CRMs, sales analytics tools, dashboards, ERP platforms, and automation tools.
Experience leading digital transformation initiatives in sales and performance tracking.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strategic thinker able to zoom in and out - from big-picture planning to day-to-day execution.
Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
