Our esteemed client is seeking a Sales Manager who will be responsible for driving sales growth and managing both existing and new client relationships within the Philippine sales territory. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding the company's market presence and delivering tailored power solutions to clients in highly technical and fast-evolving sectors.
Job summary:
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales and managing existing & new client relationships in the Philippines sales territory. This role is independent and self-driven, handling all sales activities, client engagement, and operational coordination within the market, while closely collaborating with the regional team to achieve sales and growth targets.
Key job responsibilities include:
Sales and Business Development
- Drive sales performance to achieve assigned revenue targets (USD1.0M) in the Philippines.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities in the Telco, network power, data center, and UPS sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and business partners.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and monitor competitor activity.
Client Management & Operations
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers in the Philippines.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and contracts; support negotiations and deal closure.
- Coordinate with HQ in Malaysia for order processing, delivery schedules, and after-sales support.
- Provide regular updates and reports on market conditions, customer feedback, and sales performance.
Coordination and Market Execution
- Work closely with the regional team to execute sales strategies and marketing initiatives.
- Participate in local industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities to increase brand visibility.
- Ensure smooth communication and collaboration between local customers and HQ support teams.
Key job requirements include:
- Minimum 5-7 years sales experience, preferably with a multinational company.
- Background in the Telco mobile market with experience or strong understanding of: Telco Power Systems, Data Center Solutions, UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) solutions
- Proven skills in business development, negotiation, and independent sales management.
- Self-driven and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Willing to travel locally and regionally when required.
