Monroe Consulting Group is currently looking for a Sales Manager for our client, a Heavy Machinery Principal company. This role will be based in Jakarta.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive market share and revenue growth for the crane business unit across assigned territories, focusing on B2B sales through dealers and distributors.
  • Manage and expand the dealer/distributor network, identifying new partners, providing comprehensive product training, and ensuring their sales strategies align with the company's targets and objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and technical teams to develop effective sales tools, promotional campaigns, and technical support to empower dealers and ensure client satisfaction for crane products.
  • Conduct regular market analysis to identify new opportunities, monitor competitor activities, and gather feedback to inform product development and sales strategies for the heavy machinery crane segment.
  • Achieve ambitious annual sales targets by monitoring dealer performance, conducting joint sales calls, and implementing robust reporting mechanisms to ensure consistent growth and profitability within the channel.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (8 - 10 years) in B2B sales within the heavy machinery sector, specifically handling cranes or heavy trucks, with a strong focus on channel sales (dealers/distributors).
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage a robust dealer/distributor network, including recruitment, training, performance monitoring, and relationship management.
  • Strong technical understanding of cranes (e.g., mobile cranes, tower cranes, rough terrain cranes, truck-mounted cranes) and their applications in construction, mining, or other relevant industries.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build rapport with dealers, end-users, and internal stakeholders, including the ability to present complex technical information clearly.
  • Proficiency in English (mandatory) and Mandarin Chinese (will be a plus point).
