A leading multinational engineering management and consultancy firm is seeking top talent for the Senior/Principal Electrical Design Engineer (multiple positions available). Senior/Principal Electrical Design Engineer is to participate in high-value Electrical or advanced engineering projects, focusing on innovative technical solutions, project management, and advanced engineering system operations.

What You'll do:

  • Participate in high-value Electrical or advanced engineering projects in areas such as innovative technical solutions, solutions design and development, project management, advanced engineering system operations, and Electrical systems and infrastructures.
  • Responsible for leading electrical system coordination & integration for building projects from design, tender preparation to project administration.
  • Lead Electrical team and take up assignments in site inspection, coordination and attend meetings for building development, fast-track and/or mission critical projects.
  • Lead Electrical team and ensure Electrical engineering and deliverables are consistent and meet industry standards.
  • Liaise with clients, clients' consultants, contractors and authorities from concept to detailed design and construction administration till project completion.
  • Take the lead to establish personal career experiences, development and performance goals through regular and relevant Thrive conversations.
  • Keep up-to-date with developments in your professional area.
  • Make use of expert collaboration opportunities such as PANS to develop and maintain a network of technical/professional support and excellence.
  • Achieve and/or maintain professional registrations/licences relevant to your role.
  • Update the Capabilities Database for sharing capabilities and qualifications within the business.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10+ years of relevant engineering design experience and knowledge in electrical systems.
  • Prior experience in engineering consulting work or project management will be advantageous.
  • Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.
  • Good communication skills with consultants, main contractors, and sub-contractors.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
