Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia, an executive recruitment firm, is partnering with a rapidly expanding, venture-backed health and wellness technology startup based in Jakarta. As the company continues to scale, they are seeking an experienced Senior Manager for Project & Maintenance. This leadership role will be responsible for managing the end-to-end development of new facilities, from early-stage design planning through to construction completion. Additionally, the role includes overseeing a sizable maintenance team, with a strong focus on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, as well as broader maintenance and construction-related operations throughout Indonesia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and supervise the technical workflow including time estimation, resource planning (materials, manpower), and task allocation to ensure timely and successful project delivery
- Develop and manage the budget for each project, track construction milestones, produce progress updates, and lead execution plans that align with operational and financial goals
- Oversee all stages of project planning, including early-stage interior layouts, setting deadlines, determining priorities, and delegating responsibilities across the team
- Foster and manage partnerships with third parties including designers, contractors, vendors, applicators, and procurement agents
- Oversee maintenance operations, including urgent or high-priority repairs, ensuring all essential equipment and infrastructure remain in top working condition
- Supervise, inspect, and assess the operational integrity of building systems such as electrical, mechanical, and plumbing components
- Create detailed reports, strategic plans, presentations, and evaluations to support key decision-making processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related discipline
- Demonstrated integrity in handling multiple projects and commitment to upholding good corporate governance practices across all stakeholder engagements
- At least 10 years of hands-on experience in managing renovation projects, with exposure to various contractor types (HVAC, MEP, signage, etc.)
- Proven track record in managing multiple locations/projects, preferably with experience in industries such as F&B, co-living, convenience retail, prop-tech, or fitness
- Strong team leadership capabilities, especially in supervising distributed in-house maintenance teams across different regions
- Solid grounding in architecture, engineering, and construction management principles
- Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication skills, with a talent for negotiation, relationship-building, and stakeholder management at a senior level
