Senior Project Manager - Power & Energy (based in Jakarta)
Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading National Engineering Consultancies company. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 5 years' experience in Power and Energy for the job of Senior Project Manager. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Key job responsibilities include:
- Review and verify the overarching project management plans
- Ensure that each activity plan aligns with the project's overall objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Exhibit a deep understanding of the project contracts, work methods, and Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards relevant to Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects.
- Ensure that all work carried out is in strict compliance with the terms and conditions of the project contract.
- Address any discrepancies or issues related to contract adherence, working proactively to resolve them.
- Ensuring the implementation of work in accordance with the project contract
- Regularly review project deliverables, timelines, and costs to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Address any deviations from the contract promptly, coordinating necessary changes or corrective actions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, both internal and external. Facilitate regular meetings and updates to keep all parties informed of project progress, challenges, and upcoming milestones.
- Implement robust monitoring systems to track project progress against key performance indicators (KPIs), including timelines, budgets, supply chain management, and manpower utilization.
- Generate regular reports detailing project status, highlighting any potential risks, issues, or opportunities for improvement.
- Provide strategic recommendations based on project data and trends to ensure the timely and successful completion of all projects under your oversight.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (S1) in Engineering, preferably in Power / Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the Project Management and/or technical role specifically for EPC project in the Renewable Energy Industry, with a minimum of 2 years proven experience as a Project Manager or Technical Manager.
- Experienced in the Project Management and Operations aspect of a company at a leader/manager level
- Experienced as a vocal point to the client during the planning and execution phase as per contractual scope.
- Familiar with project methodology and critical areas for consulting services including Feasibility Study, Grid Study, Engineering Design (FEED / DED), and Owner Engineer / PMC services.
