Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a world's leading logistics provider. Our respected client is searching for a results-driven Service Management Manager. The job is based in Makati City and offering a Hybrid work arrangement.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Customer - Internal
- To collect country functional user requirements.
- To capture and identify SEA country requirements to with core applications.
- To monitor the progress of local requirement implementation.
- To provide cost justifiable solutions via local development, outsourcing or package acquisition where local requirements cannot be met by proprietary business application (with agreement of GIS, Cyberjaya).
- Reduction of footprint of local applications in SEA
- Carry out any task that is required by his or her superiors from time to time.
Vendor/Supplier Management
- Contract negotiation, problem escalation, etc.
Process
- To continuously review business direction, business processes and available applications through:
- Business needs analysis in the context of regional and country direction
- Determination of appropriate IS system solutions, including evaluation for future releases of proprietary software
- To formulate and adhere to IT processes (CR/IR/RTP)
- Escalation of core apps GAPS to regional office and seek suitable enhancements/alternatives
People - Management
- To develop skills in client proprietary applications.
- To manage user expectations and requirements
Key Job Qualifications:
- Degree in Information Services/Business (or equivalent)
- 5 years IS and business experience, preferably in logistics industry
- Communication skills (English), spoken and written (excellent)
- Technical expertise in:
- All of client's proprietary core business applications
- Existing local developments
- Unix Operating System (depending on local applications)
- Informix 4GL and Database (depending on local applications)
- Internet / Web technologies (php, Java, .net)
