Job Summary:
Our respective client is looking for a Specialist in Vendor Relations with proficiency in the Mandarin language for the job of Vendor Specialist [Mandarin Speaker].
The Vendor Specialist [Mandarin Speaker] will help sustain long term vendor relationships with company approved vendor lists. The job is in BGC, Taguig City, Metro Manila, Philippines and has an onsite working arrangement.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and sustaining long-standing relationships with company-approved vendors
- Meeting with suitable vendors to assess their products, inquire about their services, negotiate pricing, and communicate any product or service-related concerns.
- Conducting research on available vendors to determine which vendors offer the best pricing and product quality.
- Continually monitoring sales trends to determine which products are more popular than others.
- Prepare and produce reports tracking vendor spend, payment, and other relevant information
- Assists with related special projects, as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, marketing, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience working as a vendor/procurement specialist. With a minimum 3 (three) years' experience
- Full understanding of all procurement function and best practices
- Must be proficient in written and spoken English, and additionally, be proficient in either written and spoken Mandarin or Tagalog.
- Multilingual is a Plus! (Knows Filipino, English and Mandarin)
