Senior Project Engineer

Our highly-respected client is seeking a technical professional, with at least 5 years of experience in process plant design and project execution for the job of Regional Project Engineer. The winning candidate will be working with the engineering team to execute bio diesel and oleo chemical projects at a local and global scale while being based in Selangor and reporting to the Head of Projects. Job Description: Engineering: Coordinate with the engineering team to prepare technical data sheet and evaluate technical drawings, plant layout and p&id diagrams for new projects. Plan and prepare project schedules, standard operating procedures (including safety procedures) and checklists for all projects and monitor the progress. Ensure all procurement are compliance with regulatory requirement and specifications. Establish project technical requirements, including preparing and maintaining design basis documents, document list, project distribution, technical evaluation protocol and formats, and project procedures. Our client is seeking a technical professional, with about 6-7 years of experience to support project execution by developing core engineering documents and ensuring process design aligns with safety, efficiency, and operational requirements. Job Summary: The candidate will be responsible to be involved in the engineering side by preparing key engineering documents such as process flow diagrams (PFDs), equipment specifications, heat and mass balances, and P&IDs. The position works closely with the Process Department HOD and collaborates regularly with internal teams, customers, and suppliers. Involvement in HAZOP studies and automation descriptions is also expected. Job Description: Be involved in the execution of projects on the engineering side where you will assist producing engineering documents, such as but not limited to, basic process flow diagram (PFD), sizing & specifications of equipment, heat & mass balances, utilities and consumptions, P&ID's, operating manuals, description of automation, HAZOP studies. Be part of a team responsible for all technical and process related matters in the Oleochemical department. Develop chemical process simulation with company's available software.
