Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading multinational company with a core focus on piping and sanitary products. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 5-10 years' sales experience on piping and sanitary products for the job of Sales Manager. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Report to Regional Sales Head
  • Planning and control of different sales to ensure the target is achieved
  • Develop new customers, projects and opportunities to grow new business, sales and market coverage
  • Monitor and take action on cost efficiency and effectiveness while attaining exponential /fast growing sales result
  • Provide planning and status report (orally and written)
  • Prepare the groundwork/ start-up preparation, including market survey (such as listing down potential clients), involved in the product development, building up the organization, and getting details ready for initial sales activities
  • Handle operational activities including to cover another sector of customer services (installation, design consultation and so on) as part of extended consumer services (serving the targeted market)

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or any related major from reputable university
  • 10 - 15 years' experience field sales of piping or sanitary products
  • Strong networking with developers, designers, architect, and contractors
  • Skill on overall general management with a focus on sales achievement
  • Possess leadership to head the team
  • Strong ability to coordinate and communicate with his team and also across to other departments/ companies (matrix organization)
  • Target oriented and aggressive sales characteristic.
  • Capability to work independently (analyse, plan, action, control) with initiative and creativity to ensure operational excellence
