Executive recruitment company, Monroe Consulting Group Thailand is recruiting on behalf of a globally recognized supplier of scientific instrument company. Our client is looking for an Account Manager with Microbiology/Medical Devices background to be based in Bangkok, Thailand.

Account Manager will handle preparation of business plan and annual budgets related to assigned distributors of Microbiology division to meet sales and profit targets.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare plans and budgets to meet and exceed annual sales and gross profit targets
  • Ensure that sales stay on plans and align with corporate policy
  • Provide quotations for distributors
  • Motivate sales of company's products to distributors and ensure the targets are met
  • Conduct regular face to face meetings with distributors for performance evaluation, meet key customers, and implement actions locally
  • Sales report on both distributors and local competitors
  • Marketing activities
  • Maintain up to date records using SAP CRM as primary reporting tools with opportunities and activities updated.
  • Maintain a high degree of knowledge of company products and policies
  • Coordinate with training team to ensure that distributor training needs are fully met
  • Be an advocate for company's values
  • Cross selling and business development opportunities for other divisions

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Life Science (preferably Microbiology)
  • 10 years of experience in Microbiology, Medical devices, or relevant
  • Proven track of sales record
  • Lab experience will be a plus
  • Competent with financial planning and analysis
  • Effective communication in Thai and English
  • Capable of managing complex accounts
  • Target driven, commercially aware, and highly motivated
  • Customer oriented with capability to improve customer satisfaction
  • Well organized, able to work independently and in teams
  • Microsoft Offices proficiency
  • Distributor management experience
