Area Manager (Automotive)

Executive recruitment firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf an international company specialized in open mobility solutions. The company is based in Makati and the role is to be assigned on a hybrid set-up.

Key job responsibilities include:


As an Area Manager in the automotive dealership industry, you will play a critical role in overseeing the performance and operations of multiple dealership locations within a designated geographic area. This position requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and operational management skills to ensure consistent and profitable dealership operations.

  1. Operational Leadership:
    • Provide strategic direction to dealership managers within the assigned area to achieve sales and profitability targets.
    • Oversee daily operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and standards.
    • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with dealerships to optimize stock levels.
  2. Sales and Marketing:
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth across dealerships.
    • Collaborate with dealership sales teams to set and achieve sales targets.
    • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for expansion.
  3. Customer Satisfaction:
    • Maintain a customer-centric approach by ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
    • Address escalated customer concerns and implement corrective actions as needed.
    • Implement programs to enhance the overall customer experience.
  4. Staff Management and Development:
    • Recruit, train, and mentor dealership managers and staff.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
    • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development.
  5. Financial Management:
    • Monitor financial performance and budget compliance for each dealership.
    • Implement cost-control measures and optimize operational efficiency.
    • Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  6. Facility and Asset Management:
    • Oversee the maintenance and appearance of dealership facilities.
    • Manage capital expenditures for facility upgrades and improvements.
    • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  7. Compliance and Legal:
    • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing automotive dealerships.
    • Stay abreast of industry changes and implement necessary adjustments to ensure legal compliance.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a managerial role within the automotive dealership industry.
  • Strong understanding of automotive sales, service, and parts operations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Analytical and strategic-thinking abilities with a focus on achieving business objectives.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing automotive dealerships.
