Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of an apparel retail company. Our respective client is looking for an Area Sales Manager who will be responsible for increasing sales within a specific geographical area and guiding a team of field sales representatives. This role will be field work an head office is located in San Pedro Laguna.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve area targets.
  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of field sales representatives.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, retailers, and distributors.
  • Expand and sustain the customer base within the assigned territory.
  • Collaborate with marketing to execute promotional campaigns and drive market presence.
  • Ensure high standards of customer satisfaction by resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Provide regular performance updates, sales forecasts, and market insights to senior management.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities and routes to market.
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and development of sales staff to enhance team capability.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales management, preferably in apparel or retail.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical abilities.
  • Willingness to work in a field-based role with regular travel within the assigned area.
