Monroe Consulting Group, an award-winning executive recruitment firm, is recruiting on behalf of a diversified business group in Thailand operating across multiple business lines, combining trading, distribution, and service-based operations. Our client is seeking a dynamic Finance Director to oversee strategic financial leadership across the company and its affiliated companies. This role is based in Bangkok, Thailand.
The Finance Director will oversee full P&L management, financial planning and control, consolidation of subsidiary results, and supports business growth initiatives including M&A opportunities. The position also leads financial systems enhancement, including ERP upgrades and optimization, to strengthen governance, transparency, and operational efficiency.
Job Responsibilities
Define and drive the overall financial direction and strategy for the company and its affiliated entities in alignment with corporate objectives.
Act as a key business partner to the Managing Director and Group CFO, providing financial insights to support decision-making.
Ensure strong financial governance, internal controls, and compliance with local regulations and group policies.
Take full ownership of P&L performance, including margin analysis and cost optimization.
Oversee financial controlling, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial data.
Monitor working capital, cash flow, and capital expenditure to support sustainable business performance.
Lead the preparation and submission of monthly financial reports, management reports, and variance analyses.
Oversee and review consolidated financial statements from subsidiaries, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
Track performance against budget and forecasts, identifying risks and recommending corrective actions.
Partner with the Group CFO to evaluate M&A opportunities, including financial modeling, due diligence, and investment analysis.
Support post-merger integration from a financial and reporting perspective.
Lead and manage ERP system updates, enhancements, or implementations, ensuring alignment with business needs and group standards.
Drive continuous improvement of finance processes, automation, and data quality.
Job Requirements
Academic background in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Proven years of progressive finance experience, with senior leadership exposure.
Strong experience in P&L management, financial controlling, consolidation, and budgeting.
Prior exposure to multi-entity or group structures is essential.
Experience supporting M&A activities and ERP implementation or upgrades.
Strong knowledge of Thai accounting standards and international reporting principles.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong command of English.
