Monroe Consulting Group is currently collaborating with a growing medical device distributor company on the look for an experience Key Account Manager position, this role will be placed in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and foster strategic relationships with hospitals or hospital groups that are key accounts for the company.
  • Responsible for achieving sales targets in the assigned hospital account area.
  • Analyze client needs and identify opportunities for sales growth (upselling/cross-selling).
  • Develop and implement annual sales strategies and work plans for each account.
  • Conduct price negotiations, payment schemes, and prepare cooperation contracts with hospitals.
  • Coordinate across departments to ensure optimal service for hospital accounts.
  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and provide strategic input based on data analysis.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and provide quick and appropriate solutions.
  • Prepare sales and account development reports regularly for management.
  • Provide product presentations and education to medical professionals and support relevant marketing activities.



Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree, preferably in Pharmacy, Health, Biomedicine, Marketing, Business Management, or any related majors.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a Key Account Manager or strategic sales position, especially in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare services industry.
  • Understanding of hospital procurement procedures (including e-catalogue, e-purchasing, and LPSE) is a plus.
  • Possess excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Target-oriented and able to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Able to analyze data and create strategic reports regularly.
  • Willing to travel for business if necessary.
  • Possessing a strong network or connections with both government and private hospitals is a significant advantage.
