Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Piping Stress Engineer to join one of our clients who's growing Industrial team in Jakarta. In this role, you will be responsible for designing piping systems, performing stress analysis, and providing technical solutions and troubleshooting support across projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pipe stress analysis and design mechanical piping systems
- Review piping layouts and support requirements
- Provide technical support and solutions for piping-related issues
- Ensure compliance with industry codes and standards (ASME, ASTM, API, NFPA, DIN)
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and support project execution
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Mechanical, or Material Engineering
- 5-10 years' experience as a Piping Engineer, preferably with stress analysis expertise
- Proficient in stress analysis tools: AutoPIPE or Caesar II
- Familiar with piping design and material specifications
- Excellent English communication and report writing skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Experience in FMCG, Water, or Mining & Metals sectors preferred
- Jakarta-based with flexibility for occasional site visits
