Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a Multinational Mechanical Piping Company for the role of Account Manager - Battery with at least 5-10 years experience in the field.

Job Description :

  • Ensure the implementation of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment Management Systems in the company
  • Define and implement Battery Production segment strategy in Indonesia together with the Head of Sales and marketing and Managing Director
  • Delivering profitable growth through a holistic approach to sales & marketing management and to improve the profitability of the Battery Production Market Segment
  • Ensure proper networking activities with Battery Production authorities, end users, consultants, EPCs, contractors and sub-contractors
  • Whenever necessary coordinate with application specialist/Battery Production BD and distributor activities for closely collaborate and securing sales for supplying main projects on timely manner
  • Make full use of product knowledge including technical know-how on the welding technologies, establishing a highly valued sales tool in front of the customers whenever it comes to technical specifications and sales argumentation and during exhibition
  • Maintain CRM updated reports including OTP report with latest developments for main project and market activities including competitor information
  • Provide interface between sales offices. And backup as customer support


Job Requirements :

  • Minimum 5 years of sales and business development field. Candidates with non-sales experience in engineering projects management are also eligible
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering (Mechanical/Industry/Chemical) or related fields and professional qualification in Sales & Marketing is an advantage
  • Proven leadership/management experience in sales & marketing with thorough knowledge of marketing principles, product or service management, sales and business development, along with a demonstrated track record of success and performance
  • Experience in sales and technical knowledge in Battery Production Process and complimentary markets, such as Battery Recycling, Active cathode production and/or Electrolyte Production
  • Experience working with Engineering consultants , EPC companies will be an advantage
  • Experience in working with auto component, mining , metals and mineral processing ( Smelters ) companies will be advantage
  • Ability to manage several project at the same time
  • Good electrical , mechanical and/or chemical engineering competence
  • Ability to connect with middle to top management of customers
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively to customer sites
