The job description will be as follow : Monitor and evaluate safety performance across all departments through audits and random internal/external checks. Identify and implement corrective and preventive measures by analyzing workplace accidents and environmental pollution. Review medical check-up programs for employees and assess environmental initiatives (UKL-UPL), wastewater treatment (IPAL), and waste management processes. Analyze Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Determination of Control (HIRADC) and investigate workplace accidents. Identify hazardous zones and implement safety signage and awareness campaigns. Develop standards and recommend procurement of PPE and safety equipment based on HIRADC, safety specs, and testing results. Evaluate the usability, continuity, and effectiveness of PPE and safety equipment. Recommend procurement of fire extinguishers and fire safety tools as per HIRADC and technical standards. Manage refilling schedules and monitor frequency of fire equipment usage. Evaluate and verify lifting operator licenses issued by regulatory bodies. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a GM Plant & Maintenance professional with at least 20 years' experience with a multinational company for the job of GM Plant & Maintenance. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia. Key job responsibilities include: Directly reports to the BOD Monitor, follow up, and report on safety inspections or unsafe conditions on work, the environment, and tools to ensure the plant and maintenances process runs safely Plan and develop maintenance activities and ensure their implementation is in accordance with the plan to support production achievement Reviewing and monitoring the plant operational and maintenance effectiveness and efficiency of using heavy equipment in supporting the process and achieving production targets Together with other departments, analyze and evaluate operation and efficiency results and problems to find solutions so that the production process is carried out effectively Provide instructions related to mining activities and their relationship with the surrounding community in a good and effective manner Conduct thorough inspections of workers, sites and tools to ensure all processes are according to schedule and design Reviewing, revising and approving monthly plant operational and maintenance reports to ensure the data presented is accurate and timely Ensure equipment that consumes energy is used according to the specified needs Reporting if there is a deviation in the use of tools that consume energy Implement an energy management system in accordance with applicable procedures and rules Implementing safety, occupational health and environmental (K3L) regulations in the work area Job Requirements: Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering, or related field Minimum 20 years combined experience in plant operation and maintenance in mining contractor Training certified or knowledge in Coal Resources and Reserves, Mine Planning, Mine Channelling, Coal Logistics Have strong experienced with a mining plant and maintenance in Sumatera and/or Kalimantan site Have a strong knowledge of heavy equipment and mining site Skill on overall general management with a focus on mining plant and maintenance Strong knowledge of environmental issues, mining legislation and labour law, mining technology and heavy production equipment Possess leadership to head the team Strong ability to coordinate and communicate with his team and also across to other departments/ companies (matrix organization) Capability to work independently (analyse, plan, action, control) with initiative and creativity to ensure operational excellence English language, international business experience highly desirable Experienced professional with an entrepreneurial character and a "hands-on approach."
