Senior Demand Planner

Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Malaysia's Consumer Goods Division is recruiting on behalf of a French luxury personal care brand. Our esteemed clients has been established for over half century specializing in a wide range of cosmetics, personal care and skincare products. As business growth and expansion continues, our respected client is seeking am ambitious professional for the role as a Senior Demand Planner. The opportunity is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Job Responsibilities: Drive monthly Demand Review and S&OP meetings with cross functional stakeholders. Develop 18 months rolling demand forecast from historical sales data by incorporating marketing intelligence (promotion, phase-in phase-out, new launches & discontinuation plan) and challenge the forecast as needed. Ensure the sales forecast consistency through the building of consensus between the commercial, financial budget and historical sales trend. Manage stock level in accordance with the country's objective. Analyze excess & obsolete stock and communicate with commercial for action to clear to drive down stock write-off and provision. Build Supply plan based on the validated consensus sales forecast. Analyze and highlight business risk and opportunity to commercial and jointly propose appropriate mitigation plan. Responsible to the Key Performance Indicators - Forecast Accuracy & BIAS. Analyze root cause & propose improvement plan. Contribute to the improvement of demand & supply planning processes. Responsible to maintain Product Master Data in system including Product Lifecycle, Product Lifestyle, etc. Job Requirements: Posses a degree/diploma or relevant qualifications Possess technical expertise across Microsoft Tools (Word, PowerPoint) Able to communicate well with internal and external stakeholders (Added leverage if able to communicate in more languages. E.g: Mandarin) Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in related industry (Added leverage if retail industry) Good track record in technical expertise.
