Our respected client is seeking an experienced Android Developer. The job is in Quezon City, Philippines but can offer a flexible work arrangement.
Job Summary:
As part of the company's agile philosophy of cross-functionality and cross-training, the selected Android Developer should expect to work in a very collaborative and learning atmosphere.
Key job responsibilities include:
- Design and build advanced mobile applications for Android platform
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers and back-end developers
- Perform design technical feasibility
- Design and follow technical specifications for features
- Recommend new features and product ideas
- Review and debug codes
- Perform unit testing to create a more robust application
- Monitor the performance of live apps and continuously improve them on both code and experience level
Key job requirements include:
Technical
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar field
- 2 year- experience in relevant field
- Experience in Kotlin
- Proficiency in RESTful APIs and JSON
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of OOP, Clean Architecture and other app architectures like MVP or MVVM
- Attention to detail and openness to code ownership
- Experience in unit testing
Soft
- Knack for benchmarking and optimization
- Ability to work agile
- Good communication, coachability, creativity
Bonus
- Experience in NDK
- Basic knowledge of Scrum framework
- Experience working in an agile environment
