Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a financial technology company serving the gaming and entertainment space with the goal of bringing the world of virtual finance and entertainment to everyone as a fun, secure, and convenient fintech institution. Our respective client is looking for Backend Software Engineers. The job is located in Quezon City, Philippines, but currently offers wfh set-up.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with front-end developers and team members to set objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance user experience
- Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Apply design pattern principles
- Write unit tests and conduct functional testing
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar field
- 2 year- experience in relevant field
- 2 year- experience in API development
- Experience in PHP/Laravel framework
- Experience in OOP and TDD
- Experience in Docker and/or Kubernetes Soft
- Ability to work agile
- Good communication, coachability, creativity
- Experience in Node.js
- Experience in Python
- Basic knowledge of Scrum framework
- Experience working in an agile environment
