Business Development (Automotive)


Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a Multinational Chemical Manufacturing Company for the role of Business Development to Automotive sectors. The job description will be as follow :

PLANNING

  • Develops and manages the budget for the designated territory, ensuring adherence to financial guidelines.
  • Creates a sales strategy aligned with the Annual Business Plan (ABP), featuring customized approaches for different clients or market segments, as well as plans for market expansion.
  • Maintains consistent communication with the direct supervisor during the planning phase.


BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

  • Establishes and monitors the territory budget, ensuring it aligns with financial targets.
  • Designs a sales roadmap based on the ABP, with specific strategies for individual clients or segments and initiatives to grow market presence.
  • Coordinates closely with the supervisor throughout the development process.


SALES MANAGEMENT

  • Leads sales efforts either directly with clients or through distribution channels.
  • Drives distributor growth and identifies new business prospects within target markets.
  • Sets business goals for key accounts, tracks their performance, and implements adjustments as needed.
  • Develops client-specific sales plans in collaboration with the supervisor, managing pricing, product offerings, and service standards.
  • Works with customer service to guarantee timely and accurate processing of orders.
  • Ensures timely collection of receivables in line with company policy and works with controlling to establish payment terms for new clients.
  • Conducts product and solution presentations when needed and partners with regional marketing to meet with end-users for product positioning and technical support.
  • Defines long-term growth strategies for assigned markets, pending supervisor approval.


REPORTING

  • Keeps detailed records of all activities and projects, providing updates to the supervisor in the required format.
  • Submits monthly reports and WPLs to reflect ongoing operations.
  • Uses the CRM system to manage project data, track progress, and document sales-related activities, including customer visits and PNS entries.
