Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Malaysia's Healthcare Division is partnered with a fast-growing multinational digital healthcare company. As their business is expanding, we are looking for a Business Development Manager for the Commercial Outsourcing department to be based in Selangor.

As the Business Development Manager (Commercial Outsourcing), you will lead the commercial outsourcing sector of the company. This includes forming strategic partnerships, handling client connections, and supervising the outsourcing services provided by the company.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Stay accountable for devising and executing plans to grow our company's commercial outsourcing offerings, while ensuring they are in line with our organizational aims.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development and Sales team (Commercial Department) to cultivate a culture of excellence and innovation.

Strategic Partnership Development:

  • Identify and nurture strategic alliances with pharmaceutical firms, healthcare entities, and potential clients for commercial outsourcing services.
  • Foster and sustain strong ties with key stakeholders, including top-level (C-Suite) executives, to comprehend client needs and align outsourcing offerings accordingly.

Commercial Outsourcing Management:

  • Supervise the provision of commercial outsourcing services, ensuring projects are executed with high quality and within deadlines.
  • Monitor client satisfaction levels and promptly address any concerns to uphold long-term partnerships.
  • Initiate continual improvement efforts to boost the efficiency and efficacy of outsourcing operations.

Strategy and Execution:

  • Formulate and execute comprehensive, sales-oriented strategies to propel growth and broaden the reach of the commercial outsourcing division.
  • Lead the sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to negotiating contracts and finalizing deals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Product Development and Partnerships to tailor solutions that meet client demands and drive revenue growth.

Performance Management and Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to enhance individual and collective performance.
  • Cultivate a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the sales unit, fostering a dynamic and results-driven workplace.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Min. 4-5 years' experience preferably in business development and sales, particularly in commercial outsourcing, ideally within pharmaceuticals or healthcare.
  • Demonstrated success in boosting sales and meeting targets in competitive markets.
  • Strong leadership abilities, including collaboration with top-performing sales teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, adept at connecting with stakeholders across levels.
  • Strategic mindset, capable of crafting and implementing effective sales strategies for business expansion.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Google Tools.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Melayu.
