Business Development Manager (Medical Devices)

Monroe Consulting Group is assisting a client from the start-up medical device industry. They are looking for a capable Senior Business Development Manager to scale up their commercial growth. This role will be based in Jakarta.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing and business development strategies to accelerate company growth.
  • Lead market engagement efforts, including brand building, product positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through tenders, distributor partnerships, and hospital procurement channels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with KOLs, clinicians, hospitals, and healthcare networks to drive product advocacy and adoption.
  • Plan and manage product launches and commercial initiatives to ensure successful market penetration.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to shape business strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with the leadership team to align business development goals with overall company vision.
  • Drive revenue generation while ensuring sustainable and long-term partnerships.


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare, or related field; Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, business development, or commercial strategy within healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or medical device industries.
  • Proven track record in scaling commercial growth and executing both strategic and tactical plans.
  • Strong network and established relationships with hospitals, clinicians, and healthcare procurement channels preferred.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Bilingual: fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English (spoken and written).
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
