Channel Sales Manager (North)

Our client is seeking for a Channel Sales Manager who has strong experience in Machinery industry.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to target markets through existing and new distribution channels to achieve volume and profit goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with re-sale accounts, positioning the company's brands strategically.
  • Provide regular on-site sales training to distributor and client teams, covering product knowledge, marketing strategies, policies, and selling techniques.
  • Coordinate with distributors to develop advertising and promotion programs in alignment with company guidelines.
  • Evaluate distributor performance and recommend improvements or replacement when necessary to enhance sales and market share.
  • Identify and report new business opportunities and market trends to the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Represent the company in industry trade shows and monitor competitive activities within the territory.
  • Collaborate with service managers to strengthen the service network and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Manage local inventory levels to support sales growth and control costs.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales or sales-related experience; good mechanical aptitude regarding machinery and equipment is a plus.
  • Willing to travel when required.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and follow-up skills.
  • Demonstrated sales acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Good English skills.
