Chief Digital Transformation Officer (Healthcare)

Executive recruitment consultant Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a well-known hospital in Indonesia. Our respected client is seeking a Chief Digital Transformation Officer to drive innovation and digitalisation forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital transformation strategy aligned with the hospital's vision, clinical priorities, and business objectives.
  • Oversee the implementation of modern digital systems such as Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Hospital Information Systems (HIS), telemedicine platforms, and patient engagement tools.
  • Establish a robust data governance framework and leverage analytics, AI, and automation to enhance decision-making, patient outcomes, and operational efficiency.
  • Identify emerging technologies and innovations in healthcare (AI, IoT, robotics, cloud) and evaluate their feasibility and integration into hospital operations and services.
  • Ensure data privacy, cybersecurity, and compliance with healthcare regulations
  • Lead cultural and operational change by promoting digital literacy, continuous improvement, and cross-department collaboration to foster digital adoption.
  • Partner with medical, administrative, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of digital initiatives across clinical pathways and support functions.
  • Manage relationships with technology vendors, consultants, and digital health startups to support implementation and innovation.
  • Establish KPIs and track progress of digital transformation initiatives to ensure measurable improvements in service delivery, patient satisfaction, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or related field; Master's degree (MBA, MHA, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in digital transformation, IT leadership, or technology management, with at least 5 years in a senior executive role.
  • Proven experience in healthcare or hospital settings is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare technologies
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing large-scale digital transformation programs and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
