Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a respected client in the Healthcare industry. We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Medical Officer to lead the company's finance and corporate services function. This role is based in Jakarta.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for all medical and clinical services within the hospital, ensuring alignment with overall organizational goals.
- Oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of clinical policies, procedures, and quality standards to ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance.
- Lead and supervise medical, nursing, and allied health teams, fostering collaboration across departments to improve clinical outcomes.
- Drive initiatives in medical excellence, patient safety, and evidence-based clinical practices.
- Collaborate with the executive team in hospital management, including business strategy, operational planning, and service development.
- Serve as the key liaison with government health authorities, medical associations, and external stakeholders to strengthen hospital credibility and partnerships.
- Support talent development through mentoring, training, and performance evaluation of medical staff.
- Provide oversight on clinical research, innovation, and adoption of new medical technologies to enhance hospital services.
- Manage medical budget planning, resource allocation, and cost optimization without compromising quality of care.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Hospital/Healthcare Management and/or a Specialist Medical Degree (Sp. / Consultant Specialist).
- Minimum 12 years of progressive experience in hospital management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record in clinical governance, patient safety, and hospital quality improvement.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Excellent knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and hospital operations.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate medical expertise into business and operational improvements.
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and networking skills with both internal teams and external partners.
