Chief Quality and Nursing Officer (Healthcare)

Executive recruitment consultant Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a Healthcare Provider. Our respected client is seeking a Chief Quality and Nursing Officer with suitable qualifications. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates positive change management for the smooth adoption of new technologies, productivity initiatives, policies, processes, and procedures standardization.
  • Implements new or emerging competencies to support role, job redesign, or nurse-led initiatives for healthcare transformation and changing demographic.
  • Implements action plans to effect improvements in hospital nursing care
  • Facilitates resolution of inter-personal and interdisciplinary conflicts and grievances
  • Resolves issues related to care, coordination, and service lapses
  • Conducts regular performance reviews of Nurse Leaders/Heads in all hospital units to support their professional development required for high-performing organization
  • Provides coaching/preceptorship resources for staff and talent development
  • Develop a standard of care that adheres to national law and regulations and enhances compliance with all nursing divisions in all hospital units.
  • Participating in management team conferences to discuss the status of the nursing division in all hospital units and patients
  • Oversees budget and resources utilization.
  • Proven background working in developing or emerging markets within the healthcare sector.
  • A focus on clinical governance and the highest standards of care.
  • A high level of emotional intelligence and the ability to build trust and respect throughout the organization.
  • Hands-on leadership approach across large multi-facility hospitals or healthcare groups.
  • Resilient and measured long-term approach to sustainable change across the group.
  • Ability to work within sometimes ambiguous environments but still execute against an overarching plan.

Job Requirements:

  • At least 10 years of nursing experience, preferably with multi-ward-based experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, preferably with a post-graduate qualification
  • Prior experience in a managerial or supervisory role in a similar work environment
  • Preferably coming from a Type B or Type A hospital
  • Proficient in oral and written English
  • Ability to handle/resolve operational issues at ground level
  • Demonstrates good communication and people engagement skills
  • Able to form networks and strong linkages with stakeholders
  • Prior training experience would be an advantage
