Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading fintech company for a Chief Technology Officer position.

The ideal candidate will be a leader who has a strong vision for the department and promotes the best organizational patterns and practices. He/She will tackle high-level challenges and balances quality software with speed. He/She is responsible for feature deployment, stability of the business's core platform stability, and the overall quality of the business's web architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Will be responsible for planning, delivery & people management for a team of engineers
  • Provide solution & infrastructure architecture and strategy leadership to drive innovative forward-looking solutions
  • Works with other stakeholders to implement and enhance solutions and technologies to deliver business-driven solutions and initiatives.
  • Ensure collaboration across various projects and functions to drive technology strategy, roadmaps, both internal and third-party
  • Brings predictability & visibility of the team's delivery to all relevant stakeholders. This includes making complex technological context more accessible to improve the quality of recommendation making
  • Minimize schedule and technical risk by foreseeing and addressing obstacles proactively and aggressively
  • Consistently evaluates technical efficiency and makes changes as necessary
  • Keep up-to-date on new technology practice, methodology, innovations that will optimize productivity, efficiency, and improve business performance



Job Requirements

  • Proven solid technical background with hands-on experience from initial development and up to manage complex microservices architecture.
  • Proven experience with good performance for at least 4 years, leading an engineering team, and in leadership/managerial roles.
  • Have experience in developing end-to-end products across mobile, web, and backend at scale
  • Good understanding and practice in agile and project management skills
  • Strong desire to work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced start-up with a highly driven team
