Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of one of the world's renounced Academic Research Institute that provides learning and Education to people. Our respective client is looking for a Cloud Solutions Engineer (Open for Remote Work).
The Cloud Solutions Engineer's role is to design architecture, develop proof-of-concept projects, and champion best practices. In addition, you will work with our Software Development Project Lead and Scrum Master in the planning stages to determine priorities. You will also have the capacity to contribute to the development by writing codes and reviewing pull requests.
The Cloud Solutions Engineer will report to the Lead Solution Architect and lead the creation of full-stack JavaScript solutions for our eLearning platforms. You will also collaborate with other Cloud Solutions Architects and Software Engineers to design system integrations, to optimize the use of services leveraged by the current business-to-consumer applications such as AWS (Amazon Web Services), Cloudflare, and Contentful.
Job Responsibilities:
- Solution Design and Architecture
- Supports projects or change initiatives by preparing technical plans and applying design principles. Align solutions with enterprise and solution architecture standards (including security)
- Develops prototypes/simulations to enable informed decision-making
- Creates, supports, and maintains Web Services and REST APIs
- Programming/Software Development
- Develops and maintains complex, and feature-rich web services and applications with JavaScript
- Resolves complex operational problems with software and fixing bugs (Level 3, Incident Management)
- Leads and develops a full-stack JavaScript development team
- DevOps culture and automation
- Setups and lead an automated, continuous delivery pipeline
- Measures, tailors, improves and automates the use of methods and tools in adherence to the AWS (Amazon Web Services) Partner Agreement
- Learning design and development
- Designs and develops resources to transfer knowledge, develop skills, and change behaviors
- Mentor developers and ensure their technical skills remain up to date
Basic Qualifications:
- At least three years of experience in full-stack JavaScript development
- Strong background in the full lifecycle of building and maintaining web applications
- Aptitude for problem-solving
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least three years of experience with 2 of the following technologies: React, Angular, Vue or Nuxt, Node.js, AdonisJS, GraphQL, TypeScript
- Deep understanding of frontend concepts such CDNs, Single Page Applications, Headless CMS, CSS Preprocessors, and Libraries
- Capable of designing and delivering scalable application architecture in the AWS ecosystem
- Experience in Agile development using Scrum, Scrumban, or Kanban
Work Arrangement
